Jalapeño Popcorn

Try this as a healthy snack or while watching your next movie!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Popcorn kernals
  • 3 tbsp. Calivirgin Hot Virgin Jalapeño Olive Oil (1 for cooking, 2 for drizzling)
  • sea salt and pepper to taste (optional)

Preparation

  1. Place a medium-high sized pot with lid over medium heat.
  2. After 3-5 minutes add 1 tbsp. Calivirgin Hot Virgin Jalapeño Olive Oil and popcorn kernels.
  3. Place lid on pot and move pot side to side so kernels are moving.
  4. Once kernels begin to pop lower hear to medium and continue moving pot until all popping stops.
  5. Remove pot from heat.
  6. Drizzle remaining 2 tbsp. Calivirgin Hot Virgin Jalapeño Olive Oil and sprinkle with sea salt and pepper to taste.
    • Additions: Try this recipe with any of our other flavored olive oils and if your feeling adventurous drizzle some barrel aged balsamic over the finished bowl.
