Pair this side dish with your favorite fish for a healthy meal.
Approximately 2 cups of raw vegetables per serving. Any combination of: broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, nappa cabbage, bok choy, sno peas, onions or leaks, eggplant, zucchini, yellow summer squash, etc.
Calivirgin Lusty Lemon Olive Oil
Sea salt to taste.
Cut vegetables into bite sized pieces.
Place a steamer basker in a pot large enough to hold the vegetables with a tight lid.
Fill the bottom of the pot with a small amount of water. Add vegetables and cover.
Place on high heat until they begin to steam. Reduce heat to low and let steam 2-3 minutes more or until the tenderness you desire.
Serve hot, toped with a drizzle of Calivirgin Lusty Lemon Olive Oil and a sprinkle of sea salt.
Additions: For a stronger lemon flavor, squeeze some fresh lemon juice along with the olive oil and salt. This recipe would also be delicious with Calivirgin Bountiful Basil Olive Oil.
