Made with our Calivirgin Guilty Garlic Olive Oil

 -  INSTRUCTIONS
 
- 1 15-ounce can chickpeas drained, reserve 2-3 tablespoons liquid as ingredient
 - 2 garlic cloves
 - ¼ cup Calivirgin Guilty Garlic Olive Oil, plus more for drizzling
 - ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
 - ½ teaspoon ground cumin
 - ¼ cup Tahini sesame paste
 - 1 teaspoon sumac
 - 1 teaspoon cumin
 - ½ teaspoon pepper
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 
-  Drain in a sieve and reserve liquid from the chickpeas and rinse with cold water.
 -  Place lemon juice, tahini, and garlic in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add the chickpeas, salt, pepper, cumin, and sumac into the processor and blend.
 -  Slowly add Calivirgin Guilty Garlic Olive Oil until the mixture is smooth. Add the reserved liquid one tablespoon at a time until the hummus is to the desired consistency.
 -  Serve on pitas, crackers, veggies, or sandwiches. Drizzle with extra olive oil and enjoy!

Hint - Try Calivirgin's many flavors of Olive Oil to give the hummus a personalized taste. For your personal preference, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of perhaps Guilty Garlic, Hot Virgin Jalapeno, or Bountiful Basil. A little of the Lusty Lemon will also add a nice twist. Be adventurous with this classic recipe.
